I wanted to share an Altered Recipe Card...Indian Tacos.
I made a dozen of these to swap out...and it sure was fun trying to get an ethnic look to them. When I get the other recipes from all over, I will bind all the cards together for a cool recipe book.
In this country, SD, WY and MT, the Indian Taco is a big treat. You can find them served at outdoor events like Arts in the Park, Festivals, Rodeos and MaPa cafe's in and around Indian reservations. They are a full meal as they fill your whole plate and when they are made right with the fried squaw bread and rest of the taco toppings, you will never pass them up!

I've not done a recipe book yet. I think yours looks great. Love the distressing and the stamps you used.
This is such a fun idea! And I wonder if you would maybe post the recipe?
Mary - I was thinking the same thing! What the devil is an indian taco?

I am so glad I took the time to browse your blog this morning Connie. Long years ago when we lived in Colorado, I was first introduced to Indian Tacos. I used to make them but have gotten out of the habit. I see these are for your AAWA recipe swap - yippee!
This is an awesome idea. These kind of things make great gifts ya know, like making the fry bread and attaching the recipe card to them.....I'm getting some wild ideas now!!!!
